Egretta garzetta

Somewhat bigger than a Cattle Egret with white plumage and black bill and legs. The feet are bright yellow as is the iris. They occur in wetlands with shallow edges where they feed alone on small fish, invertebrates and amphibians. They nest in waterside trees and occur throughout the year.
