The Interpretation Centre, a former shepherd’s house, is located about 3 km from Casar de Cáceres, next to the Soriana Occidental Drovers’ Trail and the reservoir that supplies the town’s water. In the centre the pastoral culture, transhumance and livestock routes are shown, as well as the ‘secrets’ of the artisanal production of Torta del Casar. At the top it has an observatory terrace over the body of water for watching the birds nearby.
