It shares its facilities with the Malpartida de Cáceres Tourist Office in the Casa de los Mayoralgo.
Established in 2010, its objective is to promote the values and potential of the Drove Road Network for the rural environment. It features an exhibition route across six rooms dedicated to the network of cañadas, cordeles, and veredas (traditional livestock routes) and their uses—primarily livestock farming and pastoral culture.
Furthermore, it includes a library and documentation area where a comprehensive digital archive of historical records on drove roads, provided by the Regional Government of Extremadura, can be consulted.
